DESCRIPTION

Rating 1000 on the Scoville heat scale, this little chili packs a tiny bit of punch and isn't overpowering! Native to Brazil, the Biquinho red pepper is typically pickled, but its smoky, sweet flavor profile is delicious in stir-fries, stews and salads or baked into bread or scones.

PLANT CARE

  • Shake the plants once the flowers appear to be pollinating.
  • You can start harvesting the peppers when they have turned red after about 50 to 60 days.
  • Pick peppers often, because the more you harvest, the more the plant will produce.
  • Always cut, never remove fruit from the plant.
  • Peppers are annual plants, but when kept indoors, they will continue to produce fruit longer into the season.
  • Once the first leaves appear, choose the largest plant and discard smaller plants by picking them with your fingers or cutting them off at the base.

I had a great experience with my Jardin Pro. Its compact size fits on my kitchen counter and I have yet to have a pod that hasn't sprouted. And Herbora® customer service is the best: fast, helpful, and they stand behind their products. I highly recommend!

Thank you Julien for your customer service!!!

Enjoy watching plants continually grow is satisfying. The baby choy is so amazing and seeing the Swiss chard growing well. I love sage, parsley and rosemary as well as the 2 types of basil offered. All great!!
