DESCRIPTION
Rating 1000 on the Scoville heat scale, this little chili packs a tiny bit of punch and isn't overpowering! Native to Brazil, the Biquinho red pepper is typically pickled, but its smoky, sweet flavor profile is delicious in stir-fries, stews and salads or baked into bread or scones.
PLANT CARE
- Shake the plants once the flowers appear to be pollinating.
- You can start harvesting the peppers when they have turned red after about 50 to 60 days.
- Pick peppers often, because the more you harvest, the more the plant will produce.
- Always cut, never remove fruit from the plant.
- Peppers are annual plants, but when kept indoors, they will continue to produce fruit longer into the season.
- Once the first leaves appear, choose the largest plant and discard smaller plants by picking them with your fingers or cutting them off at the base.
