These dark green leafy chards have been used in Italian dishes like pasta, risotto and pizza! Chards have lush, dark green leaves and can be eaten raw when their leaves are younger or stir-fried when the leaves are ripe.
PLANT CARE
- Once the first leaves appear, choose the largest plant, remove the others by hand or cut them at the base with small scissors. (thinning) See growing guide.
- Chard will reach full size after about 35 days.
- Cut individual leaves from the main stem starting at the bottom.
