Broad, feathery leaves and clusters of flat flowers with a strong, distinctive taste.
DESCRIPTION
Dill has broad, feathery leaves and clusters of flat flowers on dark blue-green stems. Dill has a strong, distinctive taste that resembles a combination of fennel, anise and celery, with warm, slightly bitter undertones. The leaves are a great addition to sauces, salads and omelets.
HERBAL CARE
- Pinch or cut off a few feathery leaves near the stem as soon as the leaves develop.
- With a light harvest, the plant will continue to grow. There is no need to thin out the dill, just let all the small shoots grow.
- Once dill produces seeds and dies, the plant will no longer grow.
